Knaveswell Farm is a 156 acre dairy farm on a quiet country lane halfway between Corfe Castle and Swanage in the beautiful Purbeck countryside in Dorset. The farm is run by Jo and Paul Dyer and we have three daughters Issy, Caitlin and Georgie who all help out on the farm from time to time.
We milk a herd of around 100 cows and guests are welcome to come and watch the afternoon milking (we suggest you give the morning milking a miss!) or visit the calves in the barn. We may have a couple of piglets close to the glamping site as well as hens who may lay you a fresh egg for breakfast!
IMPORTANT! COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT!
As of 24 March 2020 we’ve had to close temporarily for 3 weeks whilst the country (and the world!) try to minimise the spread of the coronavirus. What challenging times! The financial impact on our small business is going to be significant. We’ve contacted all guests with April stays in our cottage and glamping tents to postpone the booking and will rearrange when the situation is calmer and clearer. We are not cancelling any bookings. If you decide to cancel please refer to our cancellation policy/T & Cs. We are so grateful for the support, understanding and flexibility shown to us by our booked guests. We’re keenly awaiting further Government advice regarding what we must do after this 3 week period and will keep you posted. Please stay safe and look after each other. Jo.
